The Scholarship for Peace and Security aims to empower youth, and women in particular, to step up for conflict prevention and resolution through arms control, disarmament and non-proliferation. It consists of a nine-week inquiry-based online course where participants have the opportunity to learn about preventive responses to crises and conflicts, mediation support and post-conflict rehabilitation efforts, towards confidence- and security-building in the OSCE area. In addition to the online component, a select number of female graduates will then be invited to participate in a week-long in-person course taking place in Vienna, in Autumn 2024.

We are looking for:

  1. young professionals aged between 22-32 (at time of application)
  2. graduates of at least a Bachelor degree (or equivalent)
  3. nationals of one of the OSCE participating States or Partners for Co-operation.

The call for application closes on Friday, 22nd of March, at 12.00 p.m. (CEST, Vienna time). Apply here: https://forms.gle/PsJARL6MUXafcrtg7 and find out more on the OSCE webpage; as well as on LinkedIn, Facebook, X/Twitter and on Instagram.
