The Center for Transnational Law (CENTRAL) at Cologne University in cooperation with the German Institution of Arbitration (DIS) will once again host its highly successful “Cologne Academies” on international dispute resolution from September 2 to 6, 2018:

–           the 16th Academy on International Commercial Arbitration and

–           the 13th Academy on International Business Negotiation and Mediation.

The Cologne Academies are addressed to students and young practitioners. They are well known for their highly interactive teaching & training approach which involves both the law and the practice skills required for a successful career in international dispute resolution. The Academies’ aim is to teach the skills of preventing conflict escalation, retaining good business relationships and (if it comes to that) and of focussing on the key issues of a dispute and its resolution by international business mediation or international arbitration.

For detailed information on the Academies’ interactive teaching & training program, our distinguished faculty, statements of our Alumni, the fees as well as an online application form please visit our website at www.cologne-academies.com or watch our short introduction video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTHQGUowdaQ
